The immediate proximity of the Collserola Park, as well as the inherent character of the green village of Sant Cugat del Vallès, are clear clues to the balanced exercise that introduces nature into every corner of the 3 homes that make up the restricted competition object of this project. The enhancement of the views towards the golf course, as well as the careful study of the crossed views and privacy of the future users, make up some architectural volumes that appear powerful, marked by metal slabs, tracing a strong horizontality, with textured fiber cement walls and sliding carpentry that manages to soften and dissolve the whole of its geometry. The rather narrow dimensions of the plots are compensated, especially on the ground floor, by the fact of involving the largest possible outdoor area on a flat floor, in which the interior and exterior establish a simple continuity and where the terrace, the swimming pool with its peculiar configuration and the vegetation that dresses the thresholds, expand the perception of the daytime areas beyond the interior limits of the space. The serenity of the adjacent water, the tranquility of the green surroundings, the silence and natural light are an inseparable part of the modus vivendi that is presented here, with Collserola as a backdrop.
